As a designer, you get pretty good at taking recon photos of random stuff, while not getting noticed. But i could not resist this. Please take off the fullsuit and booties before entering Baja Fresh. There is no one in that much of a hurry for salsa.

I walked up on the Beaver during a recent surf down at Trestles, He looked tired from the recent storms. ALmost looked like he is dying, but he was eventually taken away by the lifegaurds. I cant believe that Beavers inhabit this area. I know up the creek, there are trout, etc. But not BEAVERS!. I dont think they have been indigenous to this area since the early 1900’s. This is another reason that they should never build a tollroad through this area. There is more life than i was aware of.

Walking through S&M headquarters, i was shown this crazy seat that someone made them. Must of been hand tooled in the southwest or something. Must of been a crazy fan as well. As with most fans of S&M, you are either a diehard, or nothin at all. Lots of respect for the people at both S&M and FIT.

Sometimes in design, you are asked to draw, mockup somthing that you think looks rad on paper or on the computer screen. But in reality, you have no idea how the factory is going to execute your work. Well , i still dont know how they got this tyedye pattern on an earbud headphone, but it looks good. Matix headphones. I played with various patterns,etc. And it turned out OK.. kinda neat, actually

I always thought that fonts, and everything related to fonts, has always been overlooked in great design. They set the mood, the tone, the overall feeling of all print ads, without you even noticing it.. Anyways, check out these cool playing cards
